英語で正月について文章を作ったのですが、不自然な点があったらぜひ指摘お願いします…

In Japan, first month of the New Year is called "Shogatsu".
(日本では新年の最初の月は正月と呼ばれます。)
We eat Osechi, send each other New Year's card called "Nengajyo", and go to the shrine to make wishes for New Year.
(私たちはおせちを食べたり、"年賀状"とよばれる新年のハガキを送りあったり、新年への願い事をするために神社にいったりします。)
The children receive Otoshidama from their parents.
(子供たちは親からお年玉を貰います。)
Shogatsu is one of the most important months of the year for Japanese people.
(正月は、日本人にとって1年の中で最も大切な日のうちの1日です。)
