教えてください！！
with tears running (涙を流しながら)という意味なのは分かるのですが、
問題文は
with tears running down が正解でした。
調べてみて、downがなくても良い。ということは分かったのですが、
じゃあ何のためのdownなんでしょうか。
downの意味はあるのでしょうか？？
