One day, a Black woman named Rosa Parks boarded a bus. She sat near the โWhites Onlyโ section. As the bus filled up, the driver told her: โGive up your seat or I'll call the police.โ She refused and was arrested by the police. Dr. King, a leader of the civil rights movement, heard the news.He decided to fight without violence. He told people to stop riding city buses. Many people supported the Bus Boycott, even some white people. Their fight lasted for more than a year. In 1956,the law was changed.Everyone was free to sit anywhere on the bus. Dr.king said. His dream was a future where whites and blacks could join hands in a nation where people are judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I think that to eliminate discrimination, it is important not only to overcome prejudice but also to see each person for who they truly are. โใใใใ้กใใใพใ
