Educational situation in Pakistan
Why did she receive the Nobel Peace Prize? (1)It was because she was speaking up for the right
of all children to have an education.
Malala was born in a mountainous area in northern Pakistan in 1997. The area became
Controlled by terrorists, a group of Islamic extremists. 2They did not believe that girls should
receive an education and they destroyed many girls' schools.
Asymbol of girls' education
Malala wanted to study in school. () She thought that girls as well as boys should go to school.
When she was eleven years old, she wrote on her blog about these ideas and her fear of the
terrorists. Her strong spirit (40moved many people, and she became a symbol of girls' education.
The terrorists did not like Malala's ideas. In October, 2012, she was (6)( shoot) by them while
(6(ride) in a school bus. Malala almost died but fortunately was saved by doctors at a British
hospital. Later, she started (m) (study) at a British girls' school Today she continues (8( work ) for
girls' education rights.
This is the beginning

“This is not the end of the campaign which I have started. I think (10)this is really the
beginning. I want to tell other children all around the world that they should stand up for their
